Data Deletion

This page explains how to ask AIVA Health SDN. BHD. (Registration No. 202601038081 (1700176-T)) to delete your personal data, including data we received through WhatsApp or Sign in with Google.

Clinic staff and account holders

To delete your AIVA Health account and the personal data linked to it:

  1. Email hello@aivahealth.ai from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account".
  2. Tell us your name and the clinic you work with.
  3. We will confirm your identity, delete your account and personal data within 30 days, and confirm by email when it is done.

A clinic administrator can also remove a staff member from the clinic in Settings › Members. Records the clinic must keep by law, such as the author of a medical record or bill, are kept with the clinic's records.

Patients

Your clinic controls your patient record and WhatsApp conversation history in AIVA Health. To have them deleted:

  1. Ask your clinic directly; they can act on your request in AIVA Health. Or
  2. Email hello@aivahealth.ai with your name, phone number and the clinic you visited. We will pass your request to the clinic and help them carry it out.

Some records, such as medical records and tax invoices, must by law be kept for a minimum period. Those are deleted once the period ends.

Clinics disconnecting WhatsApp or leaving AIVA Health

  • When a clinic disconnects its WhatsApp Business account, we stop accessing it and delete the access tokens we held for it.
  • When a clinic ends its subscription, it may export its data for 30 days. After that we delete the clinic's data, including WhatsApp message history, within 90 days, except where the law requires us to keep it.

Data we received from Google

If you signed in with Google and want that link removed, either delete your account as above or remove AIVA Health's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. We will delete the name, email and profile picture we received from Google when your account is deleted.
